How does it work?

Phase 1:

Lay the Foundations
(Day 1-30)

- A movement, strength, and conditioning assessment protocol to find exactly what's holding you back the most- An analysis of your riding data to see what training effect your riding is already giving you, so we can target the gaps off the bike- A program built around your riding, your schedule, your limitations, and your movement- Dial in your exercise execution to get the most out of your training with weekly lifting footage feedback

Phase 2:

Train for Performance
(Day 30-90)

- Focused training blocks that go directly after your limiters, whether that's strength, power, conditioning or movement.- Your program and execution progress each week as you improve, with ongoing coaching and feedback- Conditioning built around your riding, so your fitness improves without costing you time on the bike- Retest your numbers from Phase 1 and see exactly how far you've come


Can't I just ride more?

For most riders, the only training they get is on the mountain bike. This is great for building overall fitness, especially if you can ride frequently. However, it does leave some gaps.It’s difficult to target specific energy systems on the trails due to the unpredictable nature of the sport and terrain. And it’s basically impossible to develop your strength, power, and mobility from riding alone.If these areas aren’t addressed in separate training off the bike, they’ll eventually end up holding you back.The goal of this program is to identify exactly what areas are limiting your riding and to create a simple, repeatable training program to eliminate them, without getting in the way of your riding.


About me

I'm Rob. I'm a strength and conditioning coach and a mountain biker.I've been obsessed with training and performance for my entire life. I studied strength and conditioning at university, and I've spent almost 10 years coaching a wide range of clients from mountain bikers to powerlifters.I created this program because mountain bikers are some of the most passionate people on earth when it comes to their riding and their progress. But almost none of them do any training off the bike to support it.I understand why. Compared to riding, gym work is boring. But the return on as little as two sessions a week is insane. Beyond riding better now, it helps keep you in this sport for decades to come.
